70 Watt Solder Station

This solder station is a compact 70 watt system that is designed for use with traditional solder that contains lead or with lead free solder that requires a quicker heat recovery characteristic not found in some low powered solder stations. This unit implements a microprocessor control system and easy to read LED digital display. Temperature setting is easily accomplished by individually pushing seperate "+" or "--" buttons to reach the desired temperature. After a desired temperature has been set, a small dot found in the corner of the display will start blinking and soldering may commence. Actual tip temperature may be checked by simultaneously pushing all three of the front panel buttons and the display will revert to the temperature at the heating element.

The base unit of this solder station is manufactured from extruded aluminum giving this soldering station a high tech look that is typical throughout the BlackJack SolderWerks brand of soldering equipment. (BlackJack SolderWerks is a Circuit Specialists brand name). The BK2050+ solder station features a grounded tip and barrel to protect against ESD to sensitive components. This solder station is shipped with an attractive comfort grip soldering handle and a rugged aluminum iron holder which is detached from the base unit. This solder station is calibrated at the factory. Additionally, a front panel calibration port is included for users that desire to calibrate or check calibration ( this requires a contact thermometer at the tip).
