Control Studio 2 is a simulation package for learning about systems and control in electronics. It consists of a range of animated subsystem "blocks" that connect to perform different functions such as switching, amplification, etc. It's a novel modular "Plug 'n Play" approach for very fast, educational and easy circuit design. By connecting the subsystem blocks together you can investigate how they work and how electronics is used to solve everyday problems. It's an ideal vehicle for introducing electronics into the classroom for the first time or hobbyists needing a fast way to prototype an idea... then continue on to convert the blocks to a real schematic and finally to fabricate the PCB... all in a few minutes time! It now comes with a course in Adobe Acrobat format for introducing the principles of problem solving with electronics.

Creating circuits in Control Studio 2 could not be easier. Simply drag and drop subsystem blocks from the parts gallery onto your document, link them together using connectors and then press the 'play' button to begin simulation. Because designing circuits is so straightforward, you can experiment and explore freely at your own pace. Editing is easy too with built-in tools such as panning, zooming, comprehensive clipboard support and a customizable grid. There is also multiple undo/redo so any mistakes can be rectified instantly. Control Studio 2 is powered by the same simulation engine as Livewire, so circuits are precisely modelled to give very accurate results. Together with extensive animation and sound, Control Studio 2 provides an ideal environment where you are immediately involved in using a systems approach to solve 'real life' problems.
